It came today…your wooden train set.
And boy did your eyes get big and your mouth made a perfect “o” shape. OOOhhh you said and that was it…you were in love. You hooked the tracks together and drove that train as if you’d had it forever. Chug-a-chug-a-choo-choo!

Tru’s expression didn’t change much while we were at the aquarium. He was pretty much in a state of shock the whole time. He looked in astonishment at everything. He stared. And he stared. And he stared. I think maybe he blinked once or twice, but that’s about it. It was his first experience with the underwater world. I would love to know what he was thinking in his little head when he saw this…

Tru paddled in a big swimming pool for the first time today. I don’t have actual pool pictures, because, obviously, I was in the pool with him. Imagine him laughing and watching every kid that moved. When the water splashed…he laughed even louder. (I think he was trying to get the kids to look at him.) BUT, I have these pics of him in his snazzy swimsuit. While I was blowing up the floaties, Tru kept walking over to me and putting his mouth on the floatie. He’d pick up the ones I was finished with and put the part I blew into to his mouth like he was going to do what he saw me do. Onto dressing…we were both laughing so hard when I was trying to get the inflatable suit on him that we barely made it. Getting ready for the pool was as much fun as being in the pool! What a boy!
